Tonight after work I got caught in the middle of a downpour (without an umbrella). Luckily it was warm out and it just felt like I was in a high impact shower (with my winter coat on....)...could have been worse.

This is a huge caroler scene on the wall of the Confederation of Arts - very beautiful!

Today we had a meeting at the Delta with a panel of our senior leaders. It was very informative and effective discussion

The Delta was all decked out with their Christmas decorations, it looked beautiful.

Two cute things today, saw Sharon and Marg's (cleaners in our building) garbage cart and had to take a picture of the poem they wrote on it. Love these two women, they are so sweet!

Then as I was leaving for the day and saw the commissionaire's guarding a horse saddle.  LOL The lady gave them a piece of cake to watch it for her while she went to get her car so she could take it with her :) They loved it and everyone was remarking on the saddle and where the horse was!

I must say the commissionaires and the cleaners always make my day, they are sweethearts!

Today I made a delicious @vegateam breakfast smoothie: So good!

Here is the recipe:

-1 1/2 cups of Chocolate (unsweetened) Almond Breeze
-1/2 cup of blackberries and blueberries
-1 tbsp of peanut butter
-tiny bit of honey (can also add vanilla if you want or a pack of stevia)
-banana
-1/2 cup of ice cubes, more if you like a thicker smoothie
-1 pkg of Vega Whole Food Smoothie Infusion (protein, fibre, omega3, greens)
-2 tbsp of chia seeds
-Blend and enjoy!

It certainly doesn't look chocolaty because of the berries but it was delicious! :)

I had IPAC Board meetings all day today and afterwards I was going to Superstore. To my surprise there wasn't even one parking spot left....I forgot about the Santa Claus parade.

This was the oddest thing....outside there were crows everywhere.  It is almost like they knew that a snow storm was coming and they wanted to eat every last piece of grass.
They were there, took my photo and a few minutes later they were gone. It is nice to see how well they get along with each other in the large group.

Today I went for my usual weekly veggie sub at Capt Sub.  I absolutely love the three that work there: Trent, Clint and Deanie.

They always know my order, what veggies to put on and even know my phone number for points. They go above and beyond every time I come there, they are so sweet!

Here is a pic of Trent (Clint and Deanie were camera shy).  I am going to write a letter to the owner to tell them how wonderful his staff are. They always make my day!

Went to the specialist today and he said I have 3 more weeks and physio before I can run again. Although my foot is fractured he said it did not need a cast and the bad sprained ankle will heal on its own too.

Tonight I skyped with my friend Kattie and her adorable son Ethan (aka LG, little general). They really made my day! xo

Today I woke up to a winter wonderland....I didn't even know it was supposed to snow.  It was the perfect snow that kids love - the heavy snow that is good for building a snowman (or snow woman).

That afternoon I was doing an online call and it struck me funny...

Today was a very productive day!  I had meetings with @nickfrate and @krisfyn as well as an ECAN presentation.

Since I only ever drink plain coffee  I was very impressed with @nickfrate 's coffee choices...

So I am not much of a jewellery person but I thought if it was more easily accessible I may wear it more....so today I organized most of it in this 72 pocket jewellery holder (it has a hanger so you can put it in a closet).  What I don't wear in the next 6 months I decided I would give away and make room to grow...as you can see every pocket is now full (on both sides)...too much!

Tonight was the @BizUnder40 networker @theGreatGeorge.  Just as the mixer was about to start the power went off for 5 blocks in downtown Charlottetown.
Instead of cancelling the mixer the @theGreatGeorge went above and beyond and put candles and flashlights everywhere and @DBBrickhouse cooked the food outside on the BBQ.  Absolutely amazing, it was such a fun evening!  Thanks to @theGreatGeorge and @rachelvidito for making it a huge success!  Also thanks to Ilona from the @DBBrickhouse for all the fantastic food!

The lights came back on at the end of the night so we were able to tour the 4th floor suites, they were gorgeous! Jane, Jinny and I took the opportunity for a fun photo in the tub with feet - love it!

The rooms were amazing, would highly recommend you check it out if you are planning a trip to PEI :)  Also, the newly renovated lobby was gorgeous and a perfect venue for our mixer this evening. :)
