Today was a beautiful sunny day! Janice and I took @damyot (Denise Amyot, IPAC President and CEO of Technomuses) out for supper as she was in PEI to be our keynote speaker at our IPAC luncheon and to attend our AGM. We had a really great evening!

Tonight I had lots of volunteer work to catch up on and our IPAC AGM is Wednesday. June is going to be a very busy month.
Our lovely trees got a much needed "hair cut" tonight, I never even thought to take before pics but the after shots show the amount that was taken off them...wow they grew like weeds and were taking over!

What a productive Sunday, got lots done and also had some down time relaxing with a coffee and watching  a movie. Tonight I played soccer for the first time in a very long while. The group plays every Sunday night so I am going to start playing more regularly. I never played on turf before but I must say it is wonderful.  We had a practice and then a game, I am sure I will be sore tomorrow.
Here is a photo f the dream park that is located near the soccer field, a group of parents and neighbours built this park for their children and also fund-raised for all the materials. Kids have so much fun at this unique park.

Tonight was diva dates at Monica's - it was game night with her wii and giant tv screen! What a fun evening, thanks for hosting Monica!

Today was a beautiful day, we had the windows open at work and it felt like summer again....but then as I was driving home it looked like the skies were going to open up and pour....luckily it was a false alarm and it just remained grey - no rain.  The sky looks really neat.....

I came across this beautiful flower as I was walking to my car after work. It was like a tulip but I don't know if it was...the leaves look different than the tulips I normally see this time of year. It looked really nice against the vines behind it.

Anyone know what kind of flower this is?

A cold day that turned sunny and warm...I took this photo on my way home from work of a Fisherman out on the water working.  Usually you will see lots of them in the mornings but this fella must have been working overtime as he was the last one left.

I went to work early this morning and got lots done today.  It was sunny, cold, warm, then rainy...odd weather.  I took pictures of my next door neighbours cats as they looked really cute laying by their shed. Deuce is on a very long back yard tether so he has tons of room to run around.  Unfortunately these cute cats sit just out of Deuce's range and they sit there and taunt him.  I am sure he wouldn't hurt them if he could reach but he sure whines and cries that he can't go up to see them.

                                           They sure are cute :)

Happy Monday! I love long weekends...

Today's photo of the day is of a beautiful dandelion filled field...it reminds me of when I was a kid and loved picking dandelions for my Mom.  Now that there are so many people that put dandelion's in their salad, make tea with them and also supplements I am surprised there are many left...the dandelion root is so healthy.

Today Mom and I had a girls day and went to the chick flick "Something borrowed". I haven't been to the movies in a long time and it was really nice to hang out with Mom for the day.

Today was my friend Tyler's Stag party - it was a co-ed stag/stagette party.  It was a really fun evening...here are some pics:

Today was another beautiful day - Deuce had a fun evening hanging out in the backyard with his new bone.  Here are a few pics of him hanging out:

What a gorgeous sunny, warm day...yesterday winter coats and today beach weather. We had the windows open all day at work and I love the sound of people outside cutting their lawn and the warm breeze. That to me means summer is here...at least for today! :)

Tonight was the @GCACCBuzz mixer at MacKenzie Theatre "The Mack".  It was a great turnout and great to see everyone.  Here are a few pics:

Today it was so nice to see the sun shining....we missed it so much!  Took Deuce for a walk tonight with just a thin winter coat...almost can go with a spring coat but the wind can sometimes be harsh so I try to dress warmer just in case.

Tonight I worked on some FYN and IPAC stuff. We are having our IPAC-PEI AGM on June 1st so I was putting the finishing touches on the poster.  Denise Amyot is coming to speak to our Executive committee and also is going to do a presentation during our luncheon. Can't wait to see her, @damyot is amazing and she truly inspires me with all that she does - she is incredible!  We are extremely grateful that she is able to join us for our IPAC-PEI AGM as I know her schedule is very busy.

Today was the @GCACCbuzz @BizUnder40 lunch and learn session with Rachelle Wood, @nutritionistPEI
Rachelle recently won the PEI BDC Young Entrepreneur Award  By Web-enabling the successful system she pioneered, Rachelle Wood Nutrition Inc. is helping people across Canada change the way they eat. In P.E.I. alone, clients of her SeeResults system have collectively lost more than 75,000 pounds.

Great day today, it flew by...and I set my timer to do my desk exercises every 30 minutes (just 30 sec but it really helped). My shoulder and neck are almost better.
Here is a great youtube video for Office Exercises for those of you that have desk jobs..they really work!

It is rainy today so no outdoor shots...I watched a really funny show called Wipe Out tonight...now that show is just down right silly but I needed a good laugh so I watched it. The people on that show are so pumped up and they literally go through all these crazy obstacles and practically knock themselves out for a chance to win $50k.

Deuce staring at me like I am a lunatic...I couldn't stop laughing. The contestants on the show were so hyper and their reactions really struck me funny tonight...very odd show!
