Happy New Year's Eve!  Today was a beautiful day for the beach :) We went to Clearwater and it was gorgeous, really foggy on and off but it was still a fantastic day. The weather is going to be hot again tomorrow, hopefully one more beach day before I leave tomorrow night.
Here are a few pics:

Photo of the Day - Day 358

Today was a great day; lounged on the deck in the morning, then Mom and I went for a spa pedicure and then to lunch at Panera. We went shopping for a bit and then decided to visit Sims park. Mom got a new Canon Rebel camera for Christmas so she got to test it out. It was a really relaxing and fun day :)

Photo of the Day - Day 357

Today was a chilly day but the sunshine always makes the day wonderful! :)  Went to lunch today with my Mom and her friends and had a delicious drink (non-alcoholic). It tasted like summer!

  It's strawberry, blueberry, raspberry and acai berry puree in sparkling water with fresh berries on top. Yum!

Sadly my pics are not that "Florida" like, as I mentioned before a lot of the things I have been doing are already captured either in January or April and I don't want to have duplicates :) Hoping to have some more scenic pics the rest of the trip :)

Just another relaxing day, hanging out in the sun and biking etc..
Here are some friendly sand hill cranes that were walking around looking for food :) Every year there are a few sets of cranes that hang out in the neighbourhood and and make their nests by the lake. Their little babies are so sweet but they won't have them until April.

The weather turned a bit chilly today and sadly my beach day got rained out :(  So we went shopping instead :)

Today was supposed to be a beautiful sunny day and we were planning on having a beach day. Sadly it was overcast and about 20 degrees. So we decided to take in a movie instead...of course then it decided to get beautiful outside... Hopefully go to Clearwater beach tomorrow if it is nice.

Today was the day of deals!  My Momma and our friend Terry went to "Jack and Jill" at the movie theatre. What a super deal; $3 for admission and $4 for a popcorn and powerade drink. And that is not an after Christmas deal, it is all year round.  The movie theatre was pretty empty and it was neat; instead of a regular seating with all chairs, it had a table between each chair so you could put your popcorn, drink etc..

Went to chilis tonight and since there are no veggie options on the menu I ordered 4 sides: black beans, broccoli, rice and avocado slices.  Crazy to get that big of a meal for about $7 including taxes! If they put this on the menu for a vegetarian option I am sure people would pay $15 or more for it.  So delicious! :)

                                                             
Then went to my favourite store "Bath and Body Works" and got 4 lotions and 5 candles (they also came with 5 free glass candle holders) - all for $18 including taxes.  They smell so good, I could eat the candles.  And no lineups anywhere, what a surprise :)

I think I may have to go back and pick up a few more goodies before I leave since PEI does not have this wonderful store. I love it!

Merry Christmas Everyone!! :)  Sure doesn't feel like Christmas with 26 degree weather and no snow.

Happy Christmas Eve! Today was a lazy day but Mom and I went for an evening swim  before it got dark and then we went to the Christmas Eve play. We then had Happy Hour at Terry and Howard's. The weather was beautiful and still 25 late in the evening :)

  There were 500+ of these home made milk jugs (Candelabras) on the streets around the community - every street looked so beautiful lit up :)

Another hot day, the weather keeps getting better! I hope the rest of my vacation goes slower...as the last 6 days have flew by way too fast.

 Fred, the turtle that lives in my parents' back yard - he was loving the lettuce Mom gave him :)  Poor guy has some broccoli by his eye but I wouldn't dare try to take it off, he hisses if you get too close.

I opened the fridge tonight and there was a teddy bear in there filled with cookies - someone is going to be happy tomorrow when Mom does all her sugar deliveries :)
