Photo of the Day - Day 44

Today was the big sewing day where I learned to sew roman blinds.  I was a bit traumatized in high school sewing class as I always had either a broken finger or wrist due to rugby, basketball, soccer. So I wasn't a very good sewer in sewing class and never tried it again - until today :)

My friend Heather recently started quilting and sewing so she invited me to come make curtains with her. It was a really fun day and I learned a lot. I may take another class sometime in the future.

My cute little sewing machine did well but the material was too thick....

So I switched to the Cadillac of sewing machines

Here are my Roman blinds (Deuce approves)..I will post a picture when I get

a chance to put them up on the window.

Overall very fun day and happy with my new roman blinds :)
