Today I had a meeting at the Atlantic Veterinary College (AVC). So I thought I would take some pics for my photo of the day.
This was the study lounge - they added a new section to the AVC and it looks amazing!
Some kittycat study models - I wanted to be a Vet since I was 13. In the 3rd year of my BSc I was going to have to dissect a cat. Around the same time I was volunteering at a Vet Clinic and one day I had to help put the most cutest little pug down as he had a rare skin rash. I cried for 2 weeks after it happened and that is when I realized I wanted to help animals but got too attached too quickly and would be a wreck if I had to put them down everyday....hence after that year I switched to Business Administration.
A waterfall of icicles outside the AVC
My last pic of the day is of a tree with the sun in the backgorund and branches hanging from another tree above - this is part of the UPEI campus.
I'm with you Jodi! I always wanted to be a Vet too, until I realized they don't always get better. It would NOT have worked out.
ReplyDeleteMy backup plan was to be a dolphin trainer at Sea World, but maybe I will do that when I retire from the PS :)
