What a gorgeous fall day today, sunny and fresh outside, I love fall days :)
Tonight I looked in my fridge and realized I had too much baby spinach and kiwis. So I decided to make a "Lean Green" Shake. Yum!
Here is the recipe: Lean Green Shake (Ready in 5 min, makes 1 serving)
2 cups of baby spinach
1 ripe kiwi, peeled and quartered
1 cup of low-fat milk (I used almond breeze)
1 scoop vanilla or plain whey protein powder (I used 2 scoops)
1 tsp vanilla
I added a few more ingredients (optional):
1 tbsp of Greens+
1 tsp of honey
1 tbsp of Udo's Oil
Place all ingredients in blender and process until smooth. Serve immediately over ice.
