Photo of the Day - Day 269

You can always tell when I am struggling to find a photo of the day  - my fall back is a recipe :)
I had soccer tonight and I didn't want to have a big supper so I made a complex carb/protein snack that was light but still would give me lots of energy.

 The ingredients:
-Whole grain tortilla
-small banana
-cinnamon
-natural nut butter (I used peanut butter but you can use cashew or almond butter)
-honey

Put the tortilla on a side plate, add peanut butter down the centre, add a line of honey, and sprinkle cinnamon on it.  Then add the banana.

Roll it up and add a bit of peanut butter under the edge so it stays closed. Enjoy!

If you don't like wraps you can always do an open face piece of sprouted grain bread (like the kind above) or Ezekiel bread.  Then just spread the ingredients on the bread and slice the banana into circles. This is so delicious!!
